While going though my emails I received a newsletter from ClixSense stating they have opened their new
site "AdHitz". A site for advertisers and publishers. If you are a blog or web site owner this might be
something you might want to try out.

Since we have received many requests to advertise on our blog we thought this would be a simple solution for those who wish to get exposure on our blog. This will also help those who are in need of another way to earn extra money with their own sites. Since most advertising places do not accept PTC sites or incentives sites, this might be a great alternative to adsense and adbrite.

How It Works...

Basically when you sign up as a publisher, you will go through these 3 steps and fill out information about the site you wish to sell ad space for. As a publisher you have the option of setting your own price and rates for the ads to be shown on your site. Even better, you can pre-approve ads before they are even shown on your site. No more porn or scam ads!!

After you have set up your rates and filled out the info about your site, you are ready to start selling your ad space on your site. To do this you must get your banner code and insert it on your site. Those who wish to purchase and advertise on your blog or site, can click on the banner and purchase the ad they wish to run.

After they have requested to advertise on your site you will receive a email stating that you have sold advertising and you have ads that need to be approved. Log into your account and approve or disapprove the ads that you have received.

Depending on the date that was chosen for the ad to be displayed, you may or may not have ads showing on the site till the date has arrived.

Some Things You Should Know About This Site...

  • You will be charged a fee from your earnings when you have completed a sell. A percentage of the sell will go toward AdHitz, the rest will go to your account balance. So far we are seeing a 20% deduction from a ad sale going to AdHitz.
  • You have up to 7 days to approve a ad. If you do not AdHits will act on your behalf and will make the decision on whether to approve the ad based on your past approval behavior or filters you have selected in our preferences.
  • Tax info might be asked later on, there is a clause in the terms of service which indicates that this might be mandatory for members.

Summary:

We were paid and we have had nothing but good experiences with using this site. If you are a blog owner or site owner, this is another good way to earn suplemental income for your site. We will continue to test and monitor this site.

If anyone would like to share their experience that they had with this site, whether it is good or bad, feel free to do so in our comment section at the end of this review.

Referring to the new AdHitz site. The fee charged to publishers is 20%. That means if an advertiser pays $5.00 to advertise on your site then $4.00 is credited to your AdHitz account and $1.00 goes to AdHitz.com

Yeah, that is what I am seeing so far. It wasn't clear on the ratio and if it would change. At least what I could find in the FAQ or Terms sections.

I already registered under you but I am not getting any requests

Colonelcool,

It takes days sometimes. Also it depends on how much traffic you get. If you own a small blog or site, you might not get that many ad sales.
